Emphasizing strict discipline, he warned that medical staff arriving late to duty would face salary deductions. Gitte announced plans to bring in super-specialist doctors from other states to meet public demand and enhance services at GB Hospital’s surgical unit. He highlighted that the Honourable Chief Minister has prioritized healthcare reforms, ensuring better infrastructure and patient care. Airport PS & BSF Crack Down on Drug Smuggling; Seize Contraband in Lankamura Raid

  In a coordinated operation, the Airport Police Station (PS) team and the Border Security Force (BSF) raided South Naryanpur in Lankamura, leading to the seizure of  100 bottles of Eskof syrup —a codeine-based cough syrup often abused as a narcotic—and an  Omni vehicle  suspected of being used for illegal drug transportation. One suspect was arrested during the operation, underscoring the authorities' intensified efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region. Further investigations are ongoing to dismantle potential smuggling networks.
