  Agartala, April 08, 2025: Amidst growing concerns over rising fuel prices, the cost of domestic LPG cylinders has been hiked by ₹50 across the country, with the new prices effective from last night. In Tripura , the cost of a standard domestic LPG cylinder has increased from ₹928 to ₹978 , adding further burden to households already grappling with inflation and high prices of essential commodities. The price hike comes at a time when the prices of petrol and diesel have also shown a consistent upward trend, putting pressure on middle-class families and economically weaker sections.
