High-Level Task Force on Investment Promotion in NER Holds First Meeting

  Agartala, April 7, 2025: The High-Level Task Force on Investment Promotion in the North Eastern Region, constituted by the North Eastern Council (NEC) , held its first virtual meeting today under the chairmanship of its Convener. The session witnessed the presence of several distinguished leaders and officials, including the Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) , Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia , and the Chief Ministers of Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Sikkim —Shri Neiphiu Rio, Shri Conrad K. Sangma, and Shri Prem Singh Tamang. Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha , along with senior officials from the state, participated in the meeting virtually from the Civil Secretariat’s conference hall in Agartala . World Health Day Celebrated with Enthusiastic Rally Led by CM Manik Saha in Agartala

Agartala, 7 April 2025: World Health Day was observed with great enthusiasm in Tripura on Monday, with a vibrant awareness rally organised in the capital city, Agartala. The event was spearheaded by the West District Health Department in collaboration with various medical colleges, educational institutions, and public health organisations. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha flagged off the rally from the premises of Rajbari, now home to the Tripura Government Museum. In his inaugural address, he emphasised the importance of preventive healthcare and said, “Precaution is better and preferred than the cure,” underlining the need to adopt a healthy lifestyle and regular health check-ups to avoid major illnesses.
