  The Tripura government is taking various steps to digitise ration cards, including linking them with Aadhaar and implementing the One Nation, One Ration Card scheme. The Food Department has set 31st March as the deadline for linking ration cards with Aadhaar to ensure smooth implementation. Notably, Tripura is the first northeastern state to successfully introduce this national scheme. To facilitate the process, the government has developed an online platform integrating the ration card database with other welfare schemes. Through this digital initiative, beneficiaries can avail themselves of ration services from any part of the country.   The Bhumi Pujan ceremony for the construction of a new market shed was held at Dashamighat, Agartala.
