Agartala, 13th March: The International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations in Tripura concluded today with a grand event at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, organised by the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education, Government of Tripura. The 13-day-long celebration, which began on 1st March, featured a series of programmes aimed at promoting women's empowerment, gender equality, and social awareness. Honourable Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and inaugurator of the event. Other notable attendees included Tripura Women’s Commission Chairperson Smt. Jharna Debbarma, Child Rights Protection Commission Chairperson Jayanti Debbarma, Secretary of Social Welfare and Social Education Department Tapas Roy, and other dignitaries.
