Agartala, 7th March: The Government of Tripura is set to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm, focusing on women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and leadership. Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat today, Minister of Social Welfare Sri Tinku Roy highlighted the government’s efforts in uplifting women and ensuring their active participation in all sectors. As part of the celebrations, two rallies will be organised on 8th March —one starting from Umakanta at 6:00 AM and another from Rabindra Bhaban at 7:30 AM . Additionally, a special women’s match will take place at Umakanta Stadium at 3:00 PM to mark the occasion.
