The Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) celebrated its 16th foundation day

Tuesday, March 4, 2025 The Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) celebrated its 16th foundation day at the Dasharath Deb Auditorium in Supari Baghan, Agartala, on Tuesday. The event was marked by slogans demanding a separate state of Tripuraland, with the rallying cry "Do or Die" for the cause. The IPFT has been advocating for a separate state for the indigenous people of Tripura, citing issues of identity, culture, and economic development. The party's leaders reiterated their demand for a separate state, emphasizing the need for greater autonomy and self-governance for the indigenous people of Tripura. The event was attended by IPFT leaders and supporters, who pledged to continue their struggle for a separate state. With the IPFT's 16th foundation day celebration, the party has reaffirmed its commitment to the cause of Tripuraland and its people.

Workshop Organized by NABARD, Tripura Regional Office, and Tripura State Cooperative Bank

A workshop was organized by NABARD, Tripura Regional Office, and Tripura State Cooperative Bank Limited at the Edenagar office of Tripura State Cooperative Union on Tuesday. The workshop aimed to provide infrastructure support to 24 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies and Large Area Multi-Purpose Societies. During the workshop, financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each was provided to these societies from the Cooperative Development Fund. The workshop was attended by Anil Kotmire, General Manager, NABARD, and Bhaban Chandra Roy, Managing Director, Tripura State Cooperative Bank, among others. In his address, Anil Kotmire emphasized the importance of improving the infrastructure of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies and Large Area Multi-Purpose Societies.
