  Agartala, February 23: The Journalist Recreation Club (JRC) continued their winning streak by defeating the Information & Culture Department’s cricket team in a friendly match held at the Bholagiri Stadium Ground on Sunday. The match, played in a spirit of camaraderie, saw the JRC team chase down a target of 74 runs with ease, securing a comfortable victory. Winning the toss, the Information & Culture Department, led by Director Bimbisar Bhattacharya, opted to bat first. They posted a total of 73 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 16 overs. Notable contributions came from Saptadweep Majumdar (13 runs), Bimbisar Bhattacharya (4 runs), and Gautam Banik (7* runs).
