Tripura Health Secretary Warns Latecomers, Promises Upgrades in Medical Services

 

Agartala, [25th April 2025]: Secretary of Health, Kiran Gitte, addressed the media today at the Agartala Press Club, outlining key initiatives to improve healthcare services across Tripura. Emphasizing strict discipline, he warned that medical staff arriving late to duty would face salary deductions.

Gitte announced plans to bring in super-specialist doctors from other states to meet public demand and enhance services at GB Hospital’s surgical unit. He highlighted that the Honourable Chief Minister has prioritized healthcare reforms, ensuring better infrastructure and patient care.

During the Q&A session, Gitte addressed various concerns before concluding the press meet. The administration’s focus remains on efficient hospital management and quality medical services for all.
