Tripura CM Stresses Peace & Harmony in Meeting with Key Leaders

 


Agartala, [Date]: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha chaired a high-level meeting today to discuss strategies for maintaining peace, tranquility, and communal harmony in the state. The meeting was attended by Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, MP Rajib Bhattacharya, and Minister Animesh Debbarma, among other dignitaries.

Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of social cohesion and directed officials to strengthen community engagement initiatives. "Peace is the foundation of development. We must work collectively to preserve our state's harmony," he stated. The discussions also focused on addressing regional challenges through dialogue and inclusive policies.

Maharaja Debbarman highlighted the need for cultural sensitivity in governance, while MP Bhattacharya stressed proactive measures against misinformation. Minister Debbarma proposed inter-community programs to foster understanding.

The meeting concluded with resolutions to enhance grassroots coordination and monitor potential tensions. The CM instructed district administrations to conduct regular peace committee meetings, reaffirming his government's commitment to a violence-free Tripura.
