27 April, 2025: An important interactive session was organised today at 12 noon in the corridor of PM SHRI AD Nagar English Medium School. The session was attended by the school in-charge Shri Dulal Saha, morning shift in-charge Smt. Sutapa Kar, members of the school management committee, and nearly 800 parents.
The school authorities listened to several valuable suggestions from the parents and took immediate decisions to resolve many issues. Currently, this institution has emerged as one of Agartala’s leading schools, enjoying a stature comparable to Shishu Bihar School. Since its establishment in 2017, the school has been making continuous progress and now offers education up to the secondary level, with approximately 1200 students enrolled. The school’s first batch is set to appear for the secondary board examination in the 2025-26 academic session.
Besides academic excellence, the school has made notable infrastructural advancements, including modern sanitation systems, electronic coolers, hot water mineral filters, and a smart classroom. Plans are underway to introduce more smart classrooms to further enhance learning.
Ward Councillor Shri Alok Roy announced that students who perform excellently in the secondary examinations would be awarded laptops. He also assured that he would place all necessary development demands before Honourable Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, under whose direct supervision the school is functioning. Additionally, a new pre-primary section named 'Bal Batika' has commenced admissions this year, and four new Mathematics teachers are set to join soon to boost students’ interest and proficiency in the subject.
Overall, today’s interactive session marked a significant milestone in shaping the future roadmap for the school’s advancement.
