A delegation from The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Tripura State Branch, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Director of Health Services, Prof. Dr. Tapan Majumder, today at 12 PM.
During the meeting, the delegation extended their warm wishes and congratulations to Dr. Majumder. The interaction was marked by his courteous demeanour and his realistic understanding of the professional challenges in the healthcare sector, which the delegation highly appreciated.
Dr. Majumder assured the team that timely and necessary decisions concerning the role and development of physiotherapy in the state health department would be taken in the coming days.
The delegation included Dr. Soumya Bhattacharjee (PT), General Secretary; Dr. Rini Chakraborty (PT), Women's Wing Coordinator; Dr. Bijoy Debnath (PT), Joint Secretary; Dr. Noborup Debnath (PT), Member; and was led by Dr. Anshuman Dasgupta (PT), Treasurer of the state branch.
