Agartala, April 19: An empowering and insightful “Prayaas” meeting was organised today by the officers and staff of East Women Police Station to address pressing social issues such as domestic violence, child marriage, and cyber crimes.

The event aimed to engage the community, especially women and young people, in understanding their rights and the legal measures available to ensure their safety. Officers delivered motivational and informative talks, encouraging victims to come forward and seek help without fear.

The initiative emphasised the role of collective awareness and active participation in preventing such crimes. Through open conversations and real-life examples, the programme aimed to build trust between the police and the public.

The East Women Police Station reaffirmed its commitment to creating a safe and informed society. The event concluded with a message of unity: "Together, we stand for safety, awareness, and change."
