Tripura CM Stresses Investment Promotion in NE Region; Calls for Focus on Rubber, Bamboo & Tourism Sectors

  Agartala, April 02, 2025 Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today emphasized the need for aggressive promotion to attract investors to Tripura, highlighting the state’s untapped potential in rubber, agarwood, pineapple, and bamboo-based industries. Speaking at a preparatory meeting of the High-Level Task Force of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), Dr. Saha stated that improved connectivity and government reforms have significantly enhanced Tripura’s investment prospects. The meeting, held at the Secretariat, aimed to strategize investment promotion in Northeast India. Dr. Saha, who is the convener of the task force, noted that Tripura offers lucrative opportunities across multiple sectors, particularly tourism. “The state government has prioritized ease of doing business, including land reforms, to facilitate investors.   Agartala, April 02, 2025   Bhavan’s Little Learners Bordowali marked a memorable day today as it hosted its Annual Program and Prize-Giving Ceremony at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan. Utkal Divas Celebrated in Tripura with Grandeur

Tuesday, April 1, 2025 The Odia community in Tripura celebrated Utkal Divas with great enthusiasm and fervor today. The event, held at Ravindra Satabarshiki Bhavan Hall No- II, was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Governor Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu. The Governor was warmly received with a floral bouquet and lit a divine lamp to mark the beginning of the program. The event showcased a plethora of cultural performances by the Odia community residing in Tripura, highlighting their rich heritage and traditions. Utkal Divas commemorates the formation of Odisha as a separate province on April 1, 1936. The day is celebrated to foster a spirit of unity among the people of Odisha and to promote its unique culture and heritage ¹ ².
