Agartala, March 14, 2025 - The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has successfully distributed sacred waters (Amrit Jal) from the Maha Kumbh Mela across various parts of Tripura. This initiative was designed to bring the spiritual blessings of the sacred rivers to devotees who were unable to attend the grand event due to financial constraints or other limitations.
After 144 years, this grand Maha Kumbh Mela featured the confluence of the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. The VHP's effort ensured that the sanctity of this rare occasion reached devotees far from the event itself.
Under the initiative of the West District, a special puja and ritualistic worship ceremony was conducted at Anandamoyee Kali Bari in Agartala. During this ceremony, the sacred Amrit Jal was distributed to the general public who attended in significant numbers.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from devotees who received the holy water with deep reverence and devotion. This initiative successfully achieved its aim of spreading the spiritual essence of the Maha Kumbh Mela and providing devotees with an opportunity to partake in its sanctity despite being unable to attend in person.
