BN Mallick All India Police Football Championship: Prize Distribution Ceremony Held in Agartala


Agartala, March 7: The prize distribution ceremony of the BN Mallick All India Police Football Championship 2025 was held today in Agartala, with Tripura DGP Amitabh Ranjan and other senior police officials in attendance. The event marked the conclusion of the prestigious tournament, which showcased exceptional performances by police teams from across the country.


The final matches were held yesterday, where CISF clinched the men’s title with a commanding 2-0 victory over BSF. In the women’s category, SSB emerged as champions after a thrilling 3-2 win against Assam Rifles at Umakanta Academy. The winners were declared on the same day.


During the ceremony, DGP Amitabh Ranjan handed over the trophies and awards to the victorious teams, applauding their dedication and sportsmanship. The championship not only promoted physical fitness and teamwork among police personnel but also strengthened inter-force camaraderie.

Hosted in Tripura, the tournament served as a platform to foster unity, discipline, and excellence in sports among law enforcement agencies. The event concluded on a high note, celebrating the spirit of competition and fair play.
