Biplab Kumar Deb Praises Central Government’s Visionary Budget and Focus on Manipur




Agartala, Mar 10: Former Chief Minister of Tripura and Member of Parliament, Biplab Kumar Deb, lauded the central government for presenting a visionary budget under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Speaking to the media after the conclusion of the first phase of the budget session in Parliament, Deb highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing regional challenges, particularly in Manipur.


Deb revealed that the central government would soon present a specific budget for Manipur, following the imposition of President’s Rule in the state. He emphasized that the government has taken this matter seriously and has prepared the budget with careful consideration. Deb expressed optimism that the budget would bring positive change and development to Manipur, extending his best wishes to the people of the state.


The former Chief Minister also underscored the central government’s efforts to restore peace and stability in Manipur. He stated that both Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are actively working to resolve the ongoing issues in the region. Deb assured that the government is taking all necessary steps to ensure peace and normalcy return to Manipur at the earliest.


Deb’s remarks reflect the central government’s focus on addressing regional disparities and promoting development in states facing challenges. The upcoming budget for Manipur is seen as a significant step towards fostering growth and stability in the region. The government’s proactive approach, as highlighted by Deb, aims to bring about lasting peace and prosperity in Manipur.
