The Youth Tripura Federation organised a two-day plenary session at the Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala, starting with a rally from Vivekananda Maidan to the venue. The rally, attended by over 2,000 young participants, marked the beginning of the session, which aims to discuss organisational matters and announce an action plan for the demand of "Tripuraland."
The plenary session will address various issues affecting the youth of Tripura, with a focus on strengthening the organisation and mobilising support for the statehood movement. Prominent leaders, including Tipra Matha Supreme Pradyot Kishore Dev Barman, President Vijay Kumar Ranghal, and other ministers and leaders of Tipra Matha, will attend as guests.
The event highlights the growing momentum of the Tripuraland movement, which seeks greater autonomy and recognition for the indigenous communities of Tripura. The Youth Tripura Federation has been at the forefront of this campaign, advocating for the rights and aspirations of the state's youth.
The two-day session is expected to conclude with the announcement of a detailed action plan, including protests, awareness campaigns, and outreach programs to garner wider support for the cause. The presence of top leaders underscores the significance of the event and the collective resolve to push for Tripura's demands.
This gathering not only reflects the unity among Tripura's youth but also signals a renewed push for political and social change in the region.
