Sports Report: VHP and Bajrang Dal Host Kabaddi Tournament in Central Zone


The Central Zone chapter of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal organized a well-attended Kabaddi tournament on Friday at the Alok Sangha ground, bringing together local athletes and community members for a day of sporting excellence.

VHP Pranta Mantri Shankar Roy formally inaugurated the event, accompanied by distinguished guests including Corporator Snigdha Das Deb. The tournament showcased competitive matches that highlighted the traditional Indian sport's enduring appeal and significance in community building.


The competition featured intense matches that demonstrated the participants' skill, strategy, and teamwork. Players exhibited remarkable agility and tactical acumen throughout the tournament, drawing appreciative responses from the spectators who gathered to witness the sporting spectacle.


The organizing committee ensured smooth conduct of the matches, with proper arrangements for players and spectators alike. The tournament's format allowed for maximum participation while maintaining competitive standards, contributing to its success as a community sporting event.


The concluding ceremony saw the distribution of prizes to the winning teams, recognizing their outstanding performance and sportsmanship. The presence of dignitaries during the prize distribution added prestige to the accomplishments of the participating teams.
