Agartala, December 20, 2024 - Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Tripura today to chair the 72nd Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council (NEC), marking a historic first for the state as it hosts this prestigious regional gathering. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha welcomed Shah with traditional Risha and flowers at the Agartala airport. The two-day session, scheduled for December 20-21 at Pragna Bhavan, brings together chief ministers and governors from across the northeastern states.
