Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024: A Spectacular Cultural Celebration Inaugurated Amid Grandeur by CM Dr. Manik Saha .




Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 was inaugurated on 3rd December at Dumboor's Narikel Kunja, marking a significant milestone in the state's tourism promotion strategy. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, accompanied by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, officially launched the week-long extravaganza, promising to showcase the state's rich cultural landscape and breathtaking destinations.



The opening ceremony was steeped in traditional grandeur, with Dr. Saha receiving a warm welcome through floral bouquets and the symbolic presentation of a traditional Risha. The Chief Minister lit the ceremonial lamp and personally felicitated performers, emphasizing the state's commitment to promoting its artistic and cultural heritage.



In his inaugural address, Dr. Saha unveiled ambitious plans to develop Dumboor as a premier tourist destination. Key infrastructure projects, including the completion of a hanging bridge and comprehensive improvements to the nearby island's facilities, were highlighted as critical components of the state's tourism development strategy.



The festival's meticulously crafted schedule promises a diverse and engaging experience for visitors. On 9th December, the legendary Neermahal Water Palace will take center stage, offering a glimpse into Tripura's architectural and historical splendor. The picturesque Jampui Hills will be the focus on 11th December, showcasing the state's stunning natural landscapes.
