An urgent meeting was organised by the Wushu Association of Tripura at the NSRCC conference hall in Agartala. The meeting was chaired by Adhoc Committee Convenor Chayon Debnath, with representatives from all districts in attendance. In his address, Debnath highlighted the rising popularity of Wushu in Tripura. He stressed that Wushu is not just a sport but also an essential self-defence technique, especially significant in the current times where personal safety is crucial. Moreover, practising Wushu contributes to physical fitness and mental discipline, making it a popular choice among the youth. The association aims to promote the sport further and increase participation across the state.
