On the anniversary of his tragic death at the Tripura State Rifles' Second Battalion headquarters, journalists gathered at Rabindra Bhavan square, lighting candles and renewing their commitment to seek accountability.
Prominent journalists including Sanit Deb Roy and Subal Dey, along with Editor Pranab Sarkar, demanded a thorough investigation. They emphasized that until the perpetrators are brought to justice, their movement will persist.
The journalists united in their call for:
- Comprehensive CBI investigation
- Justice for Sudipto Datta Bhoumik
- Punishment for those responsible for the heinous crime
