This operation was carried out under the leadership of Officer In Charge of the Sonamura Police Station, Paritosh Das, who disclosed that the intelligence used to uncover this illicit stash had been undisclosed. The contraband confiscated during the operation consisted of 650 bottles of Phensidyl and Eskuf, both of which are banned cough syrups. These substances are often abused for their narcotic effects, posing a serious threat to public health and safety.
