A recent operation led to the discovery of a stash of Phensidyl cough syrup at the workshop of a bike mechanic, Mithu Das, popularly known as Oh Bagha, nestled in the Gandhi Ghat area, right in the vicinity of the former Chief Minister Sudhir Ranjan Majumdar's residence.  Bagha, a notorious figure in the neighborhood since his childhood, has long been associated with criminal activities. His reputation precedes him as someone who has shown no hesitation in engaging in illegal and unethical practices, including acts of violence and theft. It is noteworthy that Oh Bagha's criminal history extends to even daring robberies and Bike steeling, which has added to his notoriety and posed a grave threat to the local residents.
