 A contractor named Shyamal Dev was abducted for a tender. Criminals abducted him from the area adjacent to Agartala Uttargate. In a short period of time, the police of West police station rescued the abductor Shyamal Dev by tracking his mobile phone near Fatikrai area, but he was saved when the goons saw the police is coming to them they left him alive and went away but before going they took signature on the surrender paper of the tendered work.  Inverstigation is going on West District Superintendent of Police.

On the basis of secret information, the police recovered brown sugar by searching an auto in Buddha Mandir  area on the initiative of NCC police station. Four people were arrested. Three of them live in Bihar. West District Superintendent of Police Kiran Kumar told that the market value of the confiscated brown sugar will be 1.5 crore rupees.
