After the inauguration, a cultural program will be organized from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

 Indian Headlines: Tripura News: A tree plantation program was held on Saturday under the initiative of Sadar District Congress and Seva Dal. Former MLA Ashish Kumar Saha and others planted trees at Gandhi Ghat, besides they planted trees at the foot of Netaji's marble statue in Maharajganj Bazar. Ashish Saha expressed his anger as the Netaji Chowk of Maharajganj Bazar was left dirty due to negligence. Ashish Babu also demanded that an electrical transformer should not be installed there.

  The Honorable Minister of Food and Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the Bi-Annual Conference of Tripura Journalists Union State Committee at Agartala Press Club. Geethartha Pathak, President of All India Journalists Union and Sabina Indrajit, Secretary General of All India Journalists Union and Vice President of Global Organization were  also present as guests of honour. Besides, All India Journalist Union Secretary Pranab Sarkar and Agartala Press Club President Jayant Bhattacharya were present.
