Debbarma criticized the government for its ineffective measures in combatting drug issues and highlighted the rising number of drug peddlers, consumers, and HIV AIDS cases. He also expressed concerns about the power department's increasing electricity tariffs and the eviction of drivers by the Agartala Municipal Corporation ahead of Durga Puja, demanding official explanations from the government.
