Major General Gagan Deep, Additional Director, North Eastern Region, NCC, arrived in the state on a two-day visit.

 



Major General Gagan Deep, serving as the Additional Director for the North Eastern Region of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), embarked on a significant two-day visit to the picturesque state of Tripura, with Agartala as his focal point. This visit held immense significance for the state's NCC contingent and its leadership. 


On the inaugural day of his visit, September 8, Major General Gagan Deep commenced his itinerary by engaging in a pivotal meeting with the Chief Minister of Tripura. This meeting paved the way for discussions on collaborative efforts between the NCC and the state government, with a focus on youth development, leadership, and community service initiatives.


The second day of his visit, September 9, witnessed Major General Gagan Deep's visit to the NCC camp located at Collegetila. This marked a momentous occasion for the cadets, as they had the honor of hosting a distinguished officer of his caliber. During his visit, the Major General interacted with cadets, inspected their training facilities, and observed their drills and exercises. 


Furthermore, Major General Gagan Deep engaged in a series of discussions with NCC officials. These discussions revolved around enhancing the effectiveness and reach of the NCC programs in the region. Various pertinent issues related to youth development, skill-building, and community engagement were deliberated upon, reinforcing the NCC's commitment to fostering responsible and disciplined citizens in the North Eastern Region.
