Food department caught two potato and onion shopkeepers red-handed during the operation. After catching them red-handed, an argument started between the two shopkeepers. Later, the food department closed their two shops and said that action will be taken against these two shopkeepers.


In response to the alarming surge in potato prices, the food department swiftly executed a raid on the Maharajganj market. Acting on a tip-off, officials apprehended two unscrupulous potato and onion vendors who were manipulating prices and hoarding essential goods. As the operation unfolded, a heated dispute erupted between the apprehended shopkeepers. Subsequently, the food department took decisive action by shutting down their shops and vowed to pursue legal measures against these culprits. This resolute stance underscores the government's commitment to curbing illegal stockpiling, artificial crises, and price hikes that disproportionately burden ordinary citizens.
